The Process of Making Our Film Opening

  Blog #12: While creating our film opening, we had many decisions to make. Our screenplay that we had created prior to actually recording wasn't set in stone, since we all didn't have much time to create our screenplay and it was hard for all of us to collaborate for it. So we began on filming the scene with the two girls since we were very iffy about what we were going to do with our detective scene. We knew we wanted to make a transition of a picture of the suspect, to her being seated at the coffee shop with her friend. So, when we were filming our scene with the two teenager girls having a conversation we knew the gist of what we wanted to say, but we didn't want to the conversation to sound scripted. So, we let our actors to improv their conversation while still being able to keep with the plot of the film. Blog #11: Click Here to see my sweding project  https://youtu.be/bT8E3ZZrD9Y We chose this scene from "Diary of a Wimpy Kid" because this movie gave us so much nostalgia since we grew up watching it. This scene from the movie was one of our favorite scenes all together and many kids from our generation have tried to recreate it on social media, so we wanted a chance to try to recreate the scene, especially since we had all the resources that we needed from being in this class. Most of the time whenever we film, we try to film at one of our houses so it can be easier and we won't have to stay longer at school than we needed to. But once we realized that we needed to do this scene in school, we realized how much easier it was to be able to film. The experience of filming this was much more fun since we got to get a lot of our friends to be in it and there were many scenes where people were running.
