Blog #4: Throughout this experience of filming my first project, I learned a lot about filming, editing, and developing mise-en-scene. What I learned about filming is that you should have a concrete plan of what each shot is going to look like and always have back up shots, just in case if some shots don't work together. Since, I was co-director I didn't do much editing but when the editor would ask me some questions to see if I could help, I learned that we should have made sure the app we were using was able to handle all the footage we were downloading because the first app we were using shut down out of no where and we lost all of our progress, but didn't lose the footage. So we had to start all over with the editing. What I learned about developing mise-en-scene was that we also had to plan that before hand so we made sure that everything was looking in place of what we were trying to capture.
